Art for awareness - calling all students and young adult artists age 12-26!
We’re hosting a powerful art exhibit centered on the fentanyl and opioid crisis and awareness — and we want to hear your voice.
Use your creativity to explore themes of healing, hope, and impact. Four artists will be awarded $150, and all participants will have the chance to share their work and stories with the community.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Parker Gray (@organizedchaos.g) is a multidisciplinary freelance artist that will be collaborating with the Michael Leonardi Foundation on this exhibit. They believe that art has the power to create positive change by motivating people to take initiative. Their interest for this coined "art for social liberation" leads them on an undefined artist pursuit.

Boulder Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League presentation
Educational presentation on fentanyl awareness to the Boulder Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League, a national organization that brings mothers and sons together to volunteer at local philanthropic organizations. It offers a four-year program where mothers and sons collaborate on service projects and participate in leadership development and life skills training.

Railroad Square Music Festival Santa Rosa
11am - 6pm
The Railroad Square Music Festival is a free, family-friendly event held annually in historic Railroad Square in Santa Rosa, California. Featuring a diverse lineup of local and regional musicians across multiple stages, the festival also includes food vendors, artisan booths, and community organizations, creating a vibrant celebration of music, art, and local culture.

NEWS Napa Staff Presentation
Educational presentation on fentanyl awareness to staff at NEWS Napa. NEWS (Napa Emergency Women's Services) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safety, hope, healing, and empowerment for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. NEWS offers 24/7 emergency shelter, a bilingual help line, support groups, legal advocacy, and trauma-informed counseling services. Serving approximately 1,200 individuals annually, NEWS is committed to promoting safe communities and social change through prevention, education, and advocacy.

beyond awareness: Allies in action for suicide prevention
The Napa County Suicide Prevention Council is hosting their second annual Suicide Prevention Conference on Wednesday, September 17th from 2:30pm to 8:30 pm at the Yountville Community Center. This free, community-wide event invites residents, service providers, and advocates to attend part or all of the day’s programming.
The Michael Leonardi Foundation will be participating in the resource sharing portion of the event, which will be during the dinner hour from 6-7pm. For more information on the event and to register:

Michael Leonardi Foundation Music + Awareness Concert

Join us Saturday, September 13, 2025 for our next Michael Leonardi Foundation Music + Awareness Concert hosted at Napa Yard from 2-5 pm , featuring Molly Jean, Angry Girlfriend Racing Stripes and Couch Dog! This event features and supports talented musicians while raising awareness about staying safe from illicit fentanyl. The afternoon will also feature guest speakers and resources, including naloxone distribution.

This event brings together students, families, and community members to kick off the school year, and we will be participating with our informational table that includes resources and our safety kits (naloxone and fentanyl test strips).

UpValley Family Centers Back to School Event
Back to School Community Celebration Luau for Calistoga schools. We’ll be there sharing life-saving information and resources on fentanyl awareness and prevention to families.

2nd Annual United Against Fentanyl: An Opioid Awareness Rally & Memorial
Veteran’s Memorial Park, Downtown Napa
5:30-7:00 PM
The Napa Opioid Safety Coalition invites you to United Against Fentanyl: An Opioid Awareness Rally & Memorial.
Come together as a community to hear about the Napa countywide fentanyl awareness campaign, honor those who lost their life to the crisis, and learn how to get involved and save a life. Hear from community leaders, advocates, and those personally affected by illicit fentanyl, followed by a short unity walk. A vigil with a moment of silence and a memorial to remember those we've lost to opioid poisoning and overdose will take place after the walk. Bring a photo of a loved one, candles will be distributed. Resources will be available to learn how to stay safe and how to take action.
Live Spanish interpretation and rally signs will be available.

National Night Out 2025
National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Join us for an evening of connection, safety awareness, and family-friendly fun—featuring local organizations, first responders, food, and activities.
We will be participating at the Napa and St. Helena locations. Visit us to learn more about the dangers of illicit fentanyl and receive free naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips. Together, we take a stand for a safer, more informed community.

SOFI District Battle of the Bands Downtown, Napa CA

Downtown Napa SoFi District will have three stages for Battle of the Bands. Stop by our information table and learn what you need to know about illicit fentanyl and ways to stay safe.
The event takes place in downtown Napa, CA on Second Street, between School and Franklin Streets and will feature 14+ bands on three stages. Food trucks, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. For more information click here.

Mentis Napa Staff Awareness Presentation
Educational presentation on fentanyl awareness to staff at Mentis Napa. Mentis Napa is a nonprofit mental health organization based in Napa County, California. It provides affordable, bilingual mental health services to people of all ages—from children and teens to adults and seniors. Mentis offers individual and group counseling, school-based programs, and community education, with a strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention.

Rock the Ride Napa Valley
Rock the Ride brings our community together to remember local gun violence tragedies and to support public safety and gun violence prevention education here and across our state. This year, the longer 45-mile ride will return and will also have a 15-mile ride, a new 5.5-mile family ride, and 3-mile walkers, too!
Burritos & Bubbles in the Park + Voices of Change Speakers + Prevention Organization Fair will take place from 10am - noon. Napa Valley College – Sexual Assault Awareness Month Event
Join us at Napa Valley College as we participate with other local organizations in their event for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Michael Leonardi Foundation will be there to raise awareness about the dangers of counterfeit pills and fentanyl poisoning. Come by to learn more and engage in important conversations to protect our community. Narcan and fentanyl test strips will be available.

Napa County Community Health Fair

In honor of National Public Health Week, Napa County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) in collaboration with the Office of Emergency Services (OES) will be hosting its annual free Community Health Fair at Fuller Park on Sunday, April 6th from 1-3:30 p.m. Come learn more about community resources and services. We will be there raising fentanyl awareness and distributing Narcan and fentanyl test strips. All are welcome, this is a free event – see you there!
